Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC), including our FedRAMP environment. You will own 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and AI-enabled tooling to scale coverage and reduce alert fatigue for L1 analysts.

You will direct SOC leadership across commercial and FedRAMP scopes, drive strategy, governance, and metrics such as MTTD/MTTR, while partnering with Threat Operations, Security Engineering, and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations or related field with SOC leadership.
• Incident Manager experience leading investigations and cross-team coordination.
• Building or maturing a 24/7 SOC operating model with playbooks and escalation.
• Hands-on detection and response with SIEM/SOAR and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience mentoring SOC analysts and hiring, performance management.
• Ability to report SOC metrics to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001). FedRAMP experience a plus.
• Strong communication with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship required for FedRAMP responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct 24/7 monitoring coverage across shifts and regions.
• Serve as Incident Manager for major security incidents and coordinate investigations.
• Improve SOC processes, playbooks, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Ensure incident response meets FedRAMP rigor and audits.
• Own AI-enabled SOC roadmap: triage, investigation support, and automation.
• Collaborate with Threat Operations and Security Engineering on tooling pilots.
• Expand detection coverage as the Rubrik environment grows (cloud, SaaS, on-prem, FedRAMP).
• Set direction and operating model for a modern SOC; manage budgeting and staffing.
• Report metrics (MTTD/MTTR, coverage) to technical and executive audiences.
