Harborview Health Systems in Atlanta, GA seeks a dedicated Business Office Manager to oversee our nursing home's financial operations, billing processes, resident accounts, and payer management. The role requires leadership of the business office staff and participation in AR meetings with regional staff.

You will manage Medicaid pending applications, maintain daily census in the EMR, scan deposits, process billings, and ensure accurate resident funds handling through RFMS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an office manager in a nursing home setting.
• Experience with Medicaid/payer management and AR processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing home business office staff.
• Participate in AR meetings with leadership.
• Manage Medicaid pending applications with residents/families.
• Coordinate resources and calls with DFS weekly.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to track resident benefits and payers.
• Maintain daily census in the EMR system.
• Scan daily deposits and post cash receipts.
• Maintain resident funds, withdrawals, deposits, and trusts.
• Bill Medicaid weekly and other payers monthly.
• Ensure private collection calls are completed and AR aging follow-up.
• Manage resident banking and trust accounts in RFMS.
• Provide general support to residents and visitors.
