Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a high-impact Major Account Manager to win new strategic logos and drive growth across a focused portfolio of about 20 existing customers and prospects. Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or infrastructure.
• Proven success selling into State, Local Government, and/or Education accounts
• Strong understanding of State of North Carolina procurement, budgeting cycles, and funding mechanisms
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
• Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel regionally as needed (estimated 50%)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Drive new, expansion and renewal opportunities across all accounts
• Acquire new strategic logos while farming and expanding existing accounts
• Build executive relationships and secure senior-level access
• Develop and execute major account plans with multi-year view
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations
• Prioritize effectively across a large book of business
• Use Check Point tools to manage accounts, pipelines and forecast
• Coordinate a virtual account team (specialists, SE, etc)
