Horizon3.ai, a fast-growing remote cybersecurity company, is seeking a Senior Account Executive – SLED to lead AMER Public Sector sales across State, Local, and Higher Education accounts. You will drive quota-carrying enterprise software sales and expand our footprint with major public sector agencies and universities.

The role requires a proven track record closing six- and seven-figure deals, knowledge of procurement processes, and a builder mindset in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Salesforce and other enterprise CRM/workflow tools.
• Direct, quota-carrying B2B enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity sales experience.
• 5+ years closing large enterprise deals in SLED or similar public sector accounts.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles for AMER SLED accounts.
• Create new logo momentum and sustained multi-year pipeline.
• Manage complex RFP/RFI responses and public procurement processes.
• Develop territory and strategic account plans with partners and MSSPs.
• Assess customer risk and IT environments with Sales Engineers during evaluations.
• Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CISOs, IT directors, and procurement leaders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to structure enterprise agreements and accelerate deals.
• Research regional mandates and cyber grant trends to position Horizon3 as a standard.
