Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support project staff and the safety team by enforcing corporate safety standards and health procedures. The role includes weekly safety inspections, cross-functional coordination, and promoting a zero-injury culture on multiple projects.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in safety-related fields, 10+ years of field safety experience in construction, OSHA 30, and prefer bilingual Spanish. Travel to sites nationwide is common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of field experience in construction safety is required.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Bi-Lingual, Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractor representatives.
• Manage large projects up to $160M and interface with clients.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
• Maintain safety records and logs; stop unsafe practices immediately.
• Investigate incidents and generate proper reports.
