Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Site Safety Supervisor to support project staff and the safety team across North America. The role focuses on implementing corporate safety standards, conducting regular site inspections, and promoting a zero-injury culture on each project.

Responsibilities include developing the project safety program, coordinating orientations, conducting meetings, training, and maintaining safety records, with travel across nationwide client projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field.
• 4–7 years of safety experience in building construction.
• 5+ years of field experience minimum.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish and conduct jobsite orientation for new project employees and record participation.
• Attend initial meetings with project staff and subcontractors to define roles.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractor representatives.
• Lead weekly safety meetings with subcontractors and project staff.
• Coordinate safety training and ensure OSHA/Clayco standards compliance.
• Maintain safety records and log subcontractor toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and generate proper reports; stop unsafe practices.
• Support fire prevention and emergency procedures on site.
• Travel to various project sites as needed.
