Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Site Safety Manager to support project staff and the safety team in enforcing corporate safety standards in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. The role covers development of safety programs, site orientations, and proactive safety initiatives on multiple projects nationwide, with travel as needed.

You will inspect sites, coach workers on safe methods, investigate incidents, and maintain safety records to promote a zero-injury culture across industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/related field required.
• 6–12 years safety experience in building construction.
• 10+ years field experience minimum.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer a plus.
• Bi-Lingual, Spanish is a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer project safety programs across sites.
• Lead project safety orientations for new employees.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and prepare formal reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Coach teams on safe work practices and drive zero-incident goals.
