Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, Production Engineering, or Backend Engineering focusing on operations and scale.
• Proven scaling experience, taking a product through a high-growth phase and addressing technical debt.
• Proficiency in writing production-grade code in Golang, TypeScript, or Python with an automation mindset.
• Strong Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and AWS/GCP/Azure skills.
• Demonstrated experience with instrumenting applications and platforms with SLO-based monitoring and alerting.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices interactions, including databases and AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Scaling & Reliability: Own the reliability roadmap for major product areas, transitioning to highly available, global-scale solutions.
• Collaborative Leadership: Partner with senior engineers to refine infrastructure strategy and design.
• Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and evolve automated environments; enhance infrastructure-as-plugins model.
• AI Operations (AIOps): Scale AI/ML infrastructure with GPU resources and data pipelines for real-time insights.
• Production Excellence: Harden observability stack and build tooling to prevent incidents and explain telemetry.
• Performance Engineering: Optimize SQL, API latency, and cross-service communication for data-intensive workloads.
• AI-First Workflow: Use AI tools to automate tasks and accelerate infrastructure delivery.
