Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Site Reliability Engineer for Missionforce and related teams to design, implement, and operate highly available, scalable backend systems in public-cloud environments. You will partner with product engineers and forward-deployed teams to deliver reliable infrastructure for mission-critical workflows.

The role emphasizes automation, observability, and AI-enabled operations, with opportunities to mentor others and influence architecture across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience building and operating mission-critical systems.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to write and review production-ready code in Golang, TS, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability roadmap for major product areas to scale globally.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine infrastructure strategy and security.
• Define and evolve deployment tools to be push-button and robust.
