Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Sr Site Operations Manager for a large distribution site with 150+ associates. You will lead safety, productivity, and customer relations, guiding the site to align with the Kenco Operating System and Lean principles.

The role requires a strong transportation background, 7–10 years in distribution/transport management, and proven leadership. You will drive KPIs, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 7–10 years of warehouse/distribution or transportation management experience.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Solid transportation background and understanding of efficient transportation principles.
• Experience with warehouse, transportation, and inventory systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site personnel to ensure compliance with SOPs and workloads.
• Maintain safety, operations, quality, financial, legal and regulatory functions on site.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure site success and satisfaction.
• Manage KPIs, BI plans, efficiency programs and P&L; report to customer and leadership.
• Coach and mentor site management to sustain the business.
• Support Lean culture with 5S, Gemba walks, Kaizen events and related activities.
• Analyze operations to improve cross-functional efficiency and throughput.
• Serve as site PO gatekeeper for expenses with network leaders.
• May function as HR administrator with network HR support.
• Plan driver loads, routing, and monitor DOT hours as needed.
• Perform product inspections and checks as required.
