Job summary

The Director of Logistic Operations at Kenco Group will oversee regional sites, driving efficiency, profitability, and safety through Lean practices and strong client relationships. You will partner with site General Managers to optimize operations and service delivery.

Travel up to 50-75% is required as you engage across the network, develop long-range plans, and lead a team to execute strategic initiatives that align with Kenco’s values and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field.
• 8–10 years of supply chain, business management or logistics experience.
• 3–5 years of logistic site leadership with budgetary experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or training preferred.
• Strong leadership to maximize team performance and development.
• Robust understanding of supply chain strategies.
• Strong customer relationship skills with expectation management.
• Effective communication, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the network vision and align it with sites and staff.
• Identify new business opportunities and maximize revenue with existing customers.
• Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews.
• Monitor and improve site KPIs and introduce new metrics.
• Meet with General Managers regularly to maintain daily operations visibility.
• Drive safety initiatives across the network.
• Develop customer profiles and review contracts and processes.
• Build business cases and present value-focused solutions.
• Provide leadership and training to staff, coordinate L&D initiatives.
• Implement new programs cross-functionally.
• Use Lean Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and cost.
