Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Jeffersonville, Indiana seeks a Sr Site Operations Manager to plan, direct, and implement distribution policies for a site with 150+ associates. The leader will drive the operation using the Kenco Operating System (KOS/Shingo) to maximize efficiency and profitability across the facility.

The role requires leadership, supply chain expertise, and the ability to build strong customer relationships while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in warehouse/distribution or transportation management.
• Prior leadership experience required. Solid transportation background and knowledge of efficient transportation principles.
• Experience using warehouse, transportation, and inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities of site personnel to ensure compliance with operating system, policy and procedures; manage workload leveling.
• Maintain safety, operations, quality, financial, legal and regulatory functions on site.
• Develop strong relationships with customer to ensure continued success and satisfactory relationship.
• Responsible for site KPIs, improvements, efficiency programs and P&L; develop reports for customer/leadership.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to site management to ensure sustainability of the business.
