Job summary

Stantec’s multi-disciplinary office in Tallahassee, Florida has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer – Site / Civil Engineering. We are seeking a candidate with experience in professional practice and design related to land development/community development.

This position may be based in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando, Florida. This position will be involved with significant projects, interact with clients and government agencies and effectively working with a team.

Qualifications

• General understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
• Ability to discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agencies.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and efficient use of resources.
• Ability to collaborate in project teams and communicate ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams and visuals.
• Use AutoCAD / Civil 3D for site, utility and grading plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams and consultants.
• Participate in client project meetings and manage scope, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate project specifications with construction documents.
• Perform calculations with standard software and proprietary tools.
• Conduct constructability reviews and QA/QC on projects.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
