Job summary

Stantec’s Tallahassee multi-disciplinary office seeks an experienced Project Engineer – Site / Civil Engineering. The role covers land development, client interaction, and government agency coordination. Based in Tallahassee, Jacksonville, or Orlando, FL, you’ll lead site/grading design and reports with AutoCAD Civil3D and related tools.

Join a dynamic team delivering major projects across Florida. Requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 6+ years’ experience, and Florida PE or eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 6+ years in civil/site design.
• Florida P.E. registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong communication and project coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop design through sketches, models, diagrams, and visuals.
• Use AutoCAD Civil3D for site, utility, and grading plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal/external teams.
• Attend client project meetings and manage project scope & schedule.
• Assist seniors with budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Prepare and coordinate project specifications with drawings.
• Perform calculations using standard and manufacturer software.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and QA/QC.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.
