Job summary

Stantec’s South Florida office seeks an experienced Project Engineer – Site / Civil Engineering to work on land development projects. You will design site plans, grading, drainage and utilities, and coordinate with clients, agencies and contractors in a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes client interaction, design delivery excellence and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic, full-time setting in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering/site design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in FL or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs through sketches, electronic models, diagrams and visuals.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams, owners, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare site plans, grading, drainage, erosion control and utility plans.
• Perform calculations using standard software and proprietary tools.
• Contribute to project scope, budget, staffing and scheduling.
