Job summary

Stantec’s South Florida office is seeking a Project Engineer – Site/Civil Engineering with a strong background in land development and client interaction. The role emphasizes design of site, grading, drainage, erosion control and utilities, with opportunities to work with government agencies and a project team.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of site design experience, and FL PE eligibility. Office-based; field work possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience in site design.
• Registered Professional Engineer in FL or able to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop site design through sketches and 3D models.
• Prepare site, grading, drainage, and utility plans.
• Lead project coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Assist in project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
• Perform QA/QC and develop standards for the civil group.
