Job summary

Stantec in Tampa or Clearwater, Florida, seeks a highly motivated Project Engineer – Site/Civil to lead design and coordination for land development projects. You will work with clients and agencies, deliver site plans, drainage, and utility layouts, and grow professionally in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelors/Masters in Civil Engineering, 6+ years of site design experience, and Florida PE eligibility or licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6+ years of Civil Engineering site design experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop site/grading/utility plans and design reports.
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal and external teams.
• Prepare and revise civil documentation across project phases.
• Manage project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule with senior staff.
• Support development of project specifications and construction documents.
• Perform calculations using standard software and proprietary tools.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and QA/QC on projects.
• Assist in creating new civil group standards and specs.
