Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will join a high-performing team to analyze threats, build models, and validate simulation software, contributing to decision support for warfighters. Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of experience, with MATLAB/Python and HPC experience.

Active DoD Top Secret clearance is preferred, and occasional travel (<10%) is expected. This role offers relocation assistance and full-time onsite work.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python
• Experience in at least two of the following: Systems engineering life cycle; Software development and/or object-oriented design using C/C++ and/or Java; AI/ML and/or Surrogate Modeling; HPC

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and/or utilization of high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
• Contribute to trade studies to assess system performance of weapons against a variety of threats in kill chain scenarios.
• Evaluate performance engineering practices to identify system improvements and countermeasures.
• Collaborate in a team to develop analytic approaches and inform program decisions.
• Develop and implement model-based solutions powering decision support systems; validate models.
• Occasional travel (<10%) to support the customer/program.
