Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will join the Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML Section to work on high-fidelity missile simulations and decision-support software.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years experience, strong MATLAB/Python skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in two of: Systems engineering life cycle; Software development with C/C++/Java; AI/ML or Surrogate Modeling; HPC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop or use high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced computing environments.
• Lead trade studies to evaluate weapon system performance against threats.
• Apply performance engineering practices to inform system improvements and countermeasures.
• Collaborate to develop analytic approaches guiding program decisions.
• Develop, validate and test model-based solutions powering real-time decision aids.
