Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Simulation Analysis Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will join the Airborne Kill Chain AI/ML Section to develop high-fidelity missile simulations and build decision-support systems used by warfighters.

Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years, MATLAB or Python experience, and proficiency in C/C++ or Java; willingness to travel up to 10% and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python.
• Experience in at least two of: Systems engineering life cycle; Software development and/or OO; AI/ML; HPC.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-fidelity digital simulation software.
• Contribute to trade studies evaluating weapon system performance.
• Apply performance engineering practices to compute system improvements and survivability.
• Collaborate with teams and customers to generate data for program decisions.
• Develop model-based decision-support and validate software components.
• Occasional travel (<10%).
