Job summary

Adecco Group North America is seeking a Senior Shared Services Ops Manager to oversee the Shared Services Center teams. You will supervise daily operations, ensure accurate HR and payroll data reporting to Corporate, and support the Director of Operations with staffing and process improvements.

You will coach and develop team members, manage onboarding compliance, and deliver key performance reports while handling escalations and maintaining policy adherence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Formal education includes a high school diploma; college coursework is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Able to adapt and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Shared Services Center daily activities and support the Director of Operations.
• Plan for new projects, allocate resources, and help with strategy and implementation.
• Provide customer service to field colleagues and managers supported by the center.
• Deliver weekly reviews and reports (Headcount, Starts/Ends, Key Metrics).
• Ensure onboarding documents for new hires are completed and signed.
• Interview, hire, and orient new staff; oversee training programs.
• Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and set goals.
• Coach staff and escalate HR or performance issues as needed.
• Ensure knowledge on benefits, insurance, 401K, payroll questions, IC/SC onboarding.
• Act as escalation contact for branch issues; support compliance with I-9 and W-4.
• Schedule maintenance for IT equipment; manage supplier interactions.
• Purchase office supplies and maintain accurate invoicing.
• Administer employee policies, track vacation/attendance, and approve expenses.
• Prepare client-specific reporting to support KPIs or SLAs.
