Job summary

Healthfirst seeks a Sr ServiceNow Developer to mature our ServiceNow platform and Service Management practice. You will collaborate with business units to build solutions across changes, configurations, and releases.

The role includes integrating with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools, while developing custom components, automations, and catalog items. You will mentor staff and uphold best practices for architecture and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience in IT Service Management process design.
• ServiceNow System Admin Certification held.
• Understanding of ServiceNow API's, SSO, SAML, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST.
• Web portal development with HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and notifications.
• Develop ServiceNow apps and integrations with REST APIs and CI/CD tools.
• Create custom integration components and connect legacy systems via mid-server or web services.
• Design integrations with DevOps pipelines to enable Change Management and Release governance.
• Automate Change Requests tied to CI/CD deployments.
• Configure pipeline integrations to capture build, deployment and change data for traceability.
• Hands-on work with Service Catalog and Service Portal modules.
• Support upgrades, patches, and production deployments; create and move update sets.
• Maintain highly available environments and provide advanced admin support.
• Document policies and SDLC controls; mentor team and review requirements for accurate estimation.
