Job summary

Providence is seeking a Principal Service Engineer for the ServiceNow team. The role collaborates with stakeholders to design, operate, and improve enterprise-scale services, shaping the ServiceNow roadmap and ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions across platforms.

Hybrid work is available for candidates within 65 miles of specified office locations. Requires a strong background in automation, resilience, and enterprise architecture, with significant experience leading

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
8+ years of related experience.
Strong automation experience for deployment, recovery, or similar processes.
Experience with n-tier architectures and systems.
Experience with resilience modeling and simulating outages.
Ability to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture.

Responsibilities

Own product strategy, roadmap, and development for ServiceNow.
Define Architecture & Platform Strategy.
Own Integration & Enterprise Architecture Patterns.
Enable application lifecycle decisions (rationalization, modernization, retirement).
Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams using Agile/Scrum.
Establish Platform Governance & Engineering Standards.
Ensure Quality, Performance & Reliability while supporting delivery and continuous improvement
