Job summary

Pacific Life seeks a ServiceNow Platform Technology Lead to own the architectural direction of our ServiceNow ecosystem in Charlotte, NC. You will define standards, guide developers, and drive scalable integrations across the enterprise, balancing upgrade readiness with innovative automation.

You’ll shape the platform health, performance, and security while mentoring teams and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact, measurable improvements for end users and the organization.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in IT, incl. 4–6+ years hands-on with ServiceNow
• BS degree or equivalent experience and enterprise ServiceNow exposure
• Experience leading architecture on medium to large ServiceNow implementations
• Deep expertise in platform architecture, ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, integrations, automation, and security

Responsibilities

• Define the technical architecture of ServiceNow and set enterprise standards
• Lead architecture for complex work and steer configuration over customization
• Design system integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server) to enable data flow
• Monitor instance performance, plan upgrades, and retire technical debt
• Enable automation and AI through foundation for self-service and workflows
• Mentor developers and administrators and guide backlog refinement
