Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a Principal Service Engineer for the ServiceNow platform. You will partner with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to design, operate, and improve enterprise-scale services that empower caregivers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent
8+ years of related experience
Strong automation experience related to deployment or recovery processes
Strong experience with n-tier solutions
Strong experience with resilience modeling and simulating outages
Strong experience translating customer/technical requirements into service architecture to meet QoS
Strong experience leading backlog discussions and Live Site prioritization
Strong experience leveraging data/metrics to drive decisions
Strong experience in root cause analysis and systematic problem solving

Responsibilities

Own product strategy, roadmap, and development for ServiceNow
Define Architecture & Platform Strategy
Own Integration & Enterprise Architecture Patterns
Enable application lifecycle decisions (rationalization, modernization, retirement)
Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams using Agile/Scrum
Establish Platform Governance & Engineering Standards
Ensure Quality, Performance & Reliability while supporting delivery and continuous improvement
