Job summary

Providence is seeking a Principal Service Engineer to lead ServiceNow initiatives and drive enterprise-scale solutions for caregivers. You’ll partner with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to design, operate, and continuously improve the platform with a focus on quality, cost efficiency, usability, and caregiver satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years related experience.
• Automation deployment/recovery experience.
• Experience with n-tier solutions.
• Resilience modelling and outage simulation experience.
• Ability to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture for QoS.
• Experience leading backlog discussions and Live Site prioritisation.
• Data-driven decision making using metrics and reasoning.
• Root cause analysis and systematic problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and development for ServiceNow.
• Define Architecture & Platform Strategy.
• Own Integration & Enterprise Architecture Patterns.
• Enable application lifecycle decisions (rationalisation, modernisation, retirement).
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams using Agile/Scrum.
• Establish Platform Governance & Engineering Standards.
• Ensure Quality, Performance & Reliability while supporting delivery and continuous improvement.
