Job summary

Truist is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Platform Engineer/Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions aligning with enterprise objectives.

You will lead architecture, governance, and implementation across multiple teams, champion emerging AI-driven capabilities, and mentor engineers to raise technical standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with product partners, stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into sustainable platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Implements ServiceNow software architecture for complex initiatives with major impact.
• Adopts and refines engineering standards, practices, and governance for the domain.
• Collaborates with senior engineers and partners to shape technology approaches and roadmaps.
• Leads end-to-end technical design and implementation of scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions.
• Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues, driving performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.
• Provides technical guidance and coaching to engineers, reviews work, and raises the technical bar.
