Job summary

Truist is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Platform Engineer/Architect to design and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions that transform operations and enable AI-driven automation. You will lead technical strategy, governance, and cross-team collaboration to drive enterprise service delivery and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
• Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Implements ServiceNow software architecture and engineering approaches for complex initiatives with major impact.
• Adopts and refines advanced ServiceNow standards, practices, and governance across teams.
• Collaborates with senior engineers and stakeholders to shape technology approaches and roadmaps.
• Leads end-to-end technical design and implementation of scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions.
• Independently troubleshoots complex issues, designing architectures and improvements for reliability and performance.
• Provides ongoing technical guidance and coaching to engineers, raising the technical bar.
• Evaluates emerging ServiceNow technologies and AI-driven innovations for new features.
• Contributes to long-term technical goals and plans with well-reasoned recommendations.
• Leads large initiatives, coordinating work across teams for cohesive outcomes.
