Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a Senior ServiceNow Integration & Platform Security Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure integration capabilities across the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will implement OAuth, API lifecycle management, and platform guards within large enterprise environments.

The role partners with cybersecurity, architecture, and operations teams to deliver scalable, compliant integrations and maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
• Strong SDLC understanding including security practices.
• Experience with enterprise ServiceNow integrations and OAuth 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and improve ServiceNow API integration standards and platform security controls.
• Design, deploy, and maintain reusable integration patterns across REST APIs, SOAP services, IntegrationHub, Scripted REST APIs, and MID Server capabilities.
• Develop and operationalize OAuth authentication frameworks, token management patterns, certificate-based authentication, and secure connectivity standards.
• Build and maintain API lifecycle management capabilities including design standards, versioning, documentation, monitoring, deprecation, and retirement practices.
• Define and enforce integration and security standards to ensure consistent adoption across the ServiceNow platform.
• Respond to OAuth modernization efforts and security alerts; manage changes and deployments.
