Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to deliver advanced engineering, configuration, and integration support for the enterprise ServiceNow platform within a federal IT environment.

The role partners with product owners and process leads to implement upgrades, new capabilities, and scalable solutions while minimizing disruption to mission-critical services, including complex workflows and data models that connect ServiceNow with other enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow environments with hands-on engineering or development in large, multi-module instances.
• Experience configuring and customizing core ServiceNow apps and building integrations with APIs, web services, and related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work with product owners and teams.
• Experience planning and executing ServiceNow upgrades and changes per change-management processes.
• Current secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 10–25%.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SAM and related enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, web services, and MID servers.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements, including regression testing and rollback planning.
• Configure and customize workflows, forms, dashboards, and data models.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure configurations, integrations, and data handling comply with policies and federal requirements.
• Apply scripting and automation techniques to streamline administration, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Document solutions, configuration standards, and technical procedures to support knowledge transfer and audit readiness.
