Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a ServiceNow Engineer to deliver advanced engineering, configuration, and integration support for the enterprise ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and alignment with federal standards.

You will design workflows and integrations, plan platform upgrades, and collaborate with product owners, security, and infrastructure teams to meet regulatory requirements while minimizing disruption to mission-critical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of ServiceNow experience including hands-on engineering or development in large multi-module instances.
• Experience configuring and customizing core ServiceNow applications and building integrations via APIs and web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SAM, SecOps and related enterprise apps.
• Develop integrations using APIs, web services, and MID servers.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements with regression testing and rollback planning.
• Configure and customize workflows, forms, dashboards, and data models while maintaining performance and security.
• Collaborate with security/compliance stakeholders to meet federal requirements.
• Apply scripting and automation to streamline administration and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document solutions and procedures for knowledge transfer and audits.
