Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support CMS initiatives. You will design and build innovative ServiceNow solutions, ensuring reliability and performance across modules like ITSM, HRSD, CSM or Creator.

Strong JavaScript skills and experience beyond the ServiceNow platform are required. The role emphasizes AI-enabled tooling, REST/SOAP integrations, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full SDLC experience with strong emphasis on JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, ensuring best practices in workflows, integrations, automations, access controls, the Service Catalog, and more.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet business needs.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and other methods.
• Utilize AI developer tools (such as ServiceNow SDK, Fluent, or similar tools) to accelerate the delivery of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes), and configurations.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and ensure system reliability through robust design, comprehensive testing, and responsiveness to any issues.
• Create and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation for applications, APIs, and processes.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in ServiceNow to recommend and implement innovative system improvements.
