Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer Senior to transform technology into opportunity on mission-critical government projects. You will build and customize ServiceNow applications, automate processes with scripts, and integrate systems via REST/SOAP.

Strong collaboration with stakeholders and ongoing certification maintenance are expected. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of related experience, ITSM focus, and a Top Secret (or DOE Q) clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• ServiceNow platform development and customization with ITSM focus.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator required.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements.
• Connect the ServiceNow platform with other systems using REST/SOAP.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks.
• Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality.
• Define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products with stakeholders.
• Participate in IT-related technical process reviews and continual process improvement.
• Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications, and obtain additional certifications.
