Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks a senior ServiceNow Administrator to own and evolve the DCPS ServiceNow instance across ITSM, HRSD, Source-to-Pay, and ITAM-like areas. You will configure forms, catalogs, workflows, and integrations, while maintaining best practices and upgrade readiness.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, perform ongoing maintenance, and document capabilities for compliance and audits.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow administration with ownership of an instance.
• Strong fundamentals: forms, lists, tables, dictionary, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, roles/ACLs, update sets.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM knowledge; onsite in Washington, DC.
• Preferred: CAD; ITSM/HRSD/S2P/CSM/SecOps; data imports; public sector/education experience.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into platform-aligned solutions.
• Ensure configurations follow best practices and upgrade readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, build REST/SOAP integrations, and maintain technical docs.

Job description

This hands-on role configures and evolves ServiceNow across modules including Source-to-Pay (S2P), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM), delivering scalable, secure, user-centered solutions aligned to DCPS priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary administrator for the DCPS ServiceNow instance, supporting day-to-day service operations and maintenance
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow applications: forms, lists, workflows/flows, notifications, and reporting
• Support development and enhancement across multiple modules (ITSM, HRSD, S2P, and others)
• Design and maintain Service Catalog items and end-to-end workflows using Flow Designer, approvals, task routing, and notifications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into platform-aligned technical solutions
• Ensure configurations follow ServiceNow best practices (configuration over customization) and maintain upgrade readiness
• Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve defects, build REST/SOAP integrations, and maintain technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow administration, including ownership or co-ownership of a ServiceNow instance
• Strong platform fundamentals: forms, lists, tables, dictionary, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, roles and ACLs, update sets
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent ITSM process knowledge; able to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC and interview in person
• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD); ITSM/HRSD/S2P/CSM/SecOps; Integration Hub and data imports; public sector / K-12 / education experience
