Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship.
• Hold and active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (Security+).
• Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, or Ogden, UT for full time on-site support.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
• At least 6 years of experience with the design, development, and support of dashboarding capabilities.
• At least 4 years of ServiceNow or Kibana development.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Support the standup, configuration and implementation of ServiceNow dashboards and Kibana dashboards.
• Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles.
• Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.
• Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc)
• Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades.
• Assist with design, creation and business process flows tied to dashboarding capabilities.
• Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies.
• Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow and Kibana functional dashboard and reports.
• Support business process re-engineering activities to translate user stories into capability that can be released to the end user.
• Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance.
• Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow and Kibana platform to fit business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Orchestrate and automate tasks.
• Responsible for the design and build of ServiceNow and Kibana dashboards and integration to other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration among engineers, developers, analysts, and other team members to ensure new development and enhancement efforts remain aligned with project objectives, on schedule, and on track for successful delivery.
• Follow, maintain, and apply documentation best practice policies, procedures, and process throughout development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow and Kibana configuration, implementation, and support.
• Review and apply any additional UI/UX requirements from external and internal team and align into ServiceNow and Kibana development.
• Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
• Support data migration as needed.
• Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
• Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
• Works with and mentors junior developers to guide and coach them throughout each project.
