Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Applications Developer to architect, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications. You will lead complex projects, gather requirements from senior stakeholders, and mentor junior developers to promote best practices in software development.

The role involves ServiceNow-focused development across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB, and requires strong leadership as you steer multi-project efforts in a dynamic aerospace context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Business Admin, or related field.
• 8+ years in business analyst systems or related field; substitution allowed with 12+ years experience.
• 4+ years of demonstrated ServiceNow developer experience with Flows, JavaScript, and platform internals.
• Advanced experience with .NET (C#), WCF, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, Node, Typescript.
• Expert SQL development, integration, web app development, HTML, CSS, or similar.
• ITSM/ITOM/Discovery and ITOM/ITAM integration experience with ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs into ServiceNow requirements and agile stories.
• Develop, test, demo, and review work with the user to ensure it meets requirements.
• Develop and configure across multiple ServiceNow areas (Portal, Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, HR, ITOM, CMDB, Reporting).
• Provide support for screens, workflows, reports, data imports, integrations, scripting, and third-party integrations.
• Create and maintain system designs and operations documentation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail.
