Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Senior Business Applications Developer to architect, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications, primarily within ServiceNow. You will lead complex projects, gather requirements from senior stakeholders, and mentor junior developers while promoting best practices across IT and business domains.

You will work across Service Portal, ITOM/ITAM/CMDB, and reporting, with a focus on integrations and sustainable design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field of study.
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated ServiceNow developer experience with advanced knowledge of Flows, JavaScript, and internal workings of the platform.
• 8+ years of experience in business analyst systems or a related field.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Advanced experience with .NET (C#), WCF, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, Node, Typescript.
• Expert skills in SQL Development, Web app development, HTML/CSS.
• In-depth knowledge of ITSM and ITOM/ITAM/Discovery ServiceNow offerings.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, REST.

Responsibilities

• Understand service owners' needs and translate into ServiceNow requirements.
• Compile user requirements into agile Story(s).
• Develop, test, demo & review work with the employee to ensure it meets needs.
• Develop and configure ServiceNow areas including CMDB, ITOM/ITAM, and reporting.
• Provide support for screen tailoring, workflow and report setups, data imports, integrations, and scripting.
• Analyze business requirements to design sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
• Answer technical and configuration questions.
• Develop, maintain, and execute reports to meet performance targets.
• Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with high attention to detail.
