Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited seeks a Senior ServiceNow Architect to drive ITSM/CMDB initiatives, oversee integrations, and shape ServiceNow solutions. The role requires expertise in REST/SOAP, MID servers, and event management, with ITIL and SDLC knowledge.

You will collaborate with infrastructure teams and business units to deliver reliable, scalable ServiceMap-enabled services. Applicants should be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator and comfortable navigating Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• Senior Technical Lead/Architect with deep ServiceNow domain experience
• Experience in ITSM, CMDB, integrations, and VA within ServiceNow
• Basic knowledge of Cloud fundamentals and Windows/Unix administration
• Understanding of infrastructure environments (server/network/storage)
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, integration solutions, and architecture configurations
• Knowledge of base platform and reports in ServiceNow
• Experience in REST API and SOAP integrations
• Knowledge of testing types (unit, system integration, UAT) and repeatable environments
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Basic ITIL/industry standards knowledge
• Understanding of SDLC

Responsibilities

• Understand application requirements and follow development best practices
• Participate in daily stand-ups and review requirement changes
• Be self-directed and detail-oriented to meet standards
• Ensure code quality of assigned tasks
• Perform unit testing and provide user acceptance support
• Provide user training on user stories when required
• Configure and maintain MID servers and credentials
• Manage Discovery schedules and troubleshoot with device owners
• Implement cloud and tag-based discovery
• Collaborate with application teams to build Service Map
• Develop IRE rules, Script Includes, Business Rules, Schedule Jobs, Patterns, Probes & Sensors
• Maintain event management integrations and configurations
• Configure event rules, field mappings, alert management rules, and flows
• Set up de-duplication and correlation rules
• Configure reports and dashboards
• Coordinate with Infrastructure/Applications teams for requirements and issue resolution
