Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years)
• 5 years minimum B2B sales experience
• Experience selling a service or intangible or technical product
• Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimum direction and meet quota
• Professional communication, interpersonal and time leadership skills
• Proficient with PCs including Windows and Oracle systems
• Team player with collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems (fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, inspections)
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify buyers via calls and leads
• Develop a positive ongoing relationship with customers
• Determine customer needs and craft a sales strategy to explain offerings
• Close sales to meet plan objectives
• Maintain an active proposal backlog to support the sales plan
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates
• Maintain records of sales activities and submit reports and expenses
• Build long-term customer dedication to Johnson Controls
• Support service department to generate leads for upgrades
