Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX design, or related discipline.
• Strong command of service design methods, research and discovery techniques.
• Proven track record delivering high-impact projects for clients and end users.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with product, engineering, data, and research teams, in agile or similar environments.
• Knowledge of responsible AI-enabled approaches to improve productivity and outcomes.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for engagements.
• U.S. citizenship is required for the government contract; eligible states include a broad list including Maine.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with timely delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research and discovery to understand user needs and processes.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technologies, and organizations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers.
• Engage clients, validate assumptions, and present service design recommendations.
• Identify and address project risks and maintain quality.
• Explore and apply responsible AI tools to accelerate discovery and improve outcomes.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and growth beyond engagements.
• Support proposals and new business opportunities with service design insight.
