Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead human-centered design initiatives for public-sector programs, including departments like Veterans Affairs. You will guide discovery, translate research into strategies, and work with product, engineering, data, and research teams in a fully remote setting.

You will influence client decisions, establish design best practices, and contribute to organizational growth while applying responsible AI and emerging technologies to improve services

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in service design, UX design, or related disciplines.
• Strong command of service design methods and research techniques.
• Proven ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, data, and research teams.
• Experience supporting federal government programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional service design engagements with high quality and timely delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs and processes.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technology to inform design.
