Estes Express Lines is seeking a Service Center Manager to lead a diverse team in a busy LTL operation in Long Beach, CA. You will direct hiring, coaching, and development of up to 120+ staff across multiple shifts, ensuring safety, compliance and top‑notch service to customers.

The role requires strong leadership, customer focus, and the ability to drive performance, cost controls and strategic plans in a dynamic environment. Travel may be required, and flexibility with shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive supervisory ability in LTL/transport operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent customer focus and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Service Center employees, set goals, monitor performance, coach and develop staff.
• Oversee hiring, training and terminations; ensure paperwork is compliant.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules and regulations.
• Develop and monitor strategies to meet revenue, service, expenses, and budgets.
• Create and implement annual business plans and quarterly reviews for the center.
• Maintain safety, service and quality measures; present corrective actions.
