Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to oversee a busy LTL operation, guiding staff across shifts while ensuring safety, service, and compliance. You will drive hiring, training, and performance, partner with management to execute the business plan, and address customer and employee relations issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum five years of management experience in the LTL industry.
Proficient computer skills including AS400 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct Service Center employees; set goals, monitor performance, coach, and develop staff.
Oversee hiring, training, and terminations with proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and regulations.
Develop and implement Service Center business plans and quarterly reviews.
Investigate customer and employee relations issues and drive corrective actions.
Meet KPI targets and adapt to weather and operational changes.
