Job summary

Expel in the United States seeks a customer-facing security advisory engineer to partner with Customer Success Managers, delivering deep technical value and guiding platform adoption across complex environments. You will own incident response coordination and work with engineers, architects, and product teams to resolve advanced integrations and troubleshooting challenges.

You will cultivate strong relationships with security practitioners and leaders, advising on security program improvements

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security industry, predominantly in consultative customer-facing roles.
• Deep technical expertise across multiple security product spaces (EDR, NDR, SIEM, Cloud security, IAM).
• Experience in solutions engineering, professional services, or technical consulting.

Responsibilities

• Drive platform adoption and technical health metrics for assigned accounts.
• Build deep technical relationships with security practitioners and leaders.
• Advise on security program improvements and detection strategies.
• Expand integrations and optimize configurations over time.
• Provide technical content and support for CSM-led reviews.
• Handle complex troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
• Own technical incident response coordination with customers.
• Identify opportunities for technical expansion and new integrations.
• Mentor junior TAMs and CSMs on technical topics.
