Job summary
Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify and train customers on fire, security and building automation projects of varying complexity. You will be the key technical interface, delivering on-time results and maintaining customer satisfaction while upholding our standards and safety policies.

Qualifications
- Experience installing and programming electronic security and/or fire alarm & life safety systems for enterprise-level customers.
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in commissioning and startup of security/building automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, test, repair, and service systems including security, fire, and building automation.
- Mentor less-experienced staff and provide technical guidance.
- Coordinate with Project Manager and operations for site supervision and quality control.
- Prepare submittals, shop drawings, training documentation, and close-out reports.
