Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, and certify fire, security, and building automation systems on projects of varying complexity. The role includes customer training, support, and ensuring projects meet time and budget targets.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of relevant experience, extensive knowledge of security systems, and strong technical skills across building automation and life safety disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of all security systems.
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm, and life safety.
• Strong technical and math skills; ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation systems.
• Acts as key interface for customer support and training, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Reads blueprints and manuals to determine installation requirements; interprets diagrams and wiring diagrams.
