Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup/check-out, certify, and train customers on fire, security, and building-automation projects. You will be a key interface for technical support and help ensure customer satisfaction and on-time project delivery.

We value adherence to safety, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while managing multiple projects and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience installing and programming electronic security and/or fire alarm & life safety systems for enterprise-level customers.
• Certifications in Genetec, Lenel, Brivo, DMP, Avigilon, Verkada and EST.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service a variety of systems including security, fire alarm and building automation.
• Lead customer training and act as the main interface for technical support, maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Mentor less-experienced staff and supervise subcontractors as needed.
