Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on fire, security, and building automation projects of varying complexity.

You will be the primary technical interface for customers, ensuring satisfaction, and may mentor less-experienced staff as the team grows. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing security and life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and commission security, fire alarm, and building automation systems.
• Start-up, certification, and customer training on assigned projects.
• Mentor less-experienced staff where needed.
• Interface with customers to provide technical support and maximize satisfaction.
• Work with project managers to manage scope, safety, and schedule.
