Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on fire, security, and building automation systems. You will manage onsite projects within budget and schedule while delivering top-quality service.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot complex equipment, and work with the customer to ensure satisfaction. Strong technical skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential in our growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and programming security and fire alarm systems.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 completed or certification in progress.
• Certifications in Genetec, Lenel, Brivo, DMP, Verkada or EST are plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service security, fire, and building automation systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine installation needs.
• Provide customer training and serve as technical liaison onsite.
• Coordinate with project managers and supervise subcontractors as needed.
