Job summary

AWS North America is building a dedicated Security Sales team to drive security services revenue growth. As a Security Seller, you will originate, develop, and close security deals, owning the end-to-end pipeline within your territory and engaging CISOs directly.

You will be paired 1:1 with a Security Solution Architect and work with account teams to lead security origination while others handle non-security execution. This is a quota-carrying hunter role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with strong quota attainment.
• 5+ years of experience selling cybersecurity solutions, platforms, or services to large enterprise customers.
• Proven ability to independently generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, whitespace analysis, and strategic account planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end security pipeline within your territory.
• Proactively identify, generate, and own new security opportunities across assigned North America territories.
• Execute targeted sales plays across greenfield and brownfield scenarios, including AI security for Bedrock.
• Drive competitive displacement against incumbent security providers leveraging AWS Security Hub and portfolio.
• Build and maintain independent, trusted relationships with CISOs and security buyers.
• Engage on board-level security concerns such as risk reduction, regulatory compliance, SOC productivity, TCO, and business continuity.
• Position AWS as the security platform partner and articulate AWS Security portfolio benefits.
• Collaborate with AMs in a dual-coverage model for security origination and account-level execution.
